Rocco Altobelli Salon locations are currently scheduled to remain closed until June 1, 2020.

A message from our President:

As soon as the Governor gives us the okay to reopen, we are ready to welcome our clients and staff back into our salons.  Many things have been changed since we had to close, but one thing that has not changed is the creative talents of our staff.

Our call center is up and running in our company office.  We are currently booking appointments Monday through Friday, 8:30-5:00.  Please dial your salon’s number and your call will be forwarded to one of our receptionists.  Please note: we are experiencing unusually high call volume.  We are simultaneously reaching out to reaccommodate those guests whose appointments have been affected by the closure mandate as well as taking incoming calls.  We appreciate your patience.  We will respond to every call and voicemail as soon as we are able.

All of the salons have been reconfigured to comply with social distancing requirements.  Protocols for sanitation between each client are in place, traffic flow marked on our floors, and adjusted scheduling has been implemented, among many other areas.  We have been in weekly communication with our staff, updating them on each area that we have changed and what we are doing to make their salon a safe environment to return to.

Some of the actions we have taken are as follows:

We have informed the staff that if they don’t feel well, they must stay home, and we ask our clients to do the same.  We will be taking the staff’s temperature when they arrive for the day.  All staff will be wearing masks, as we are requesting of all clients.  Hand sanitizer will be provided at each station, plus other areas of the salon.  Each station and shampoo station will be sanitized between each use.  You will see that some stations have been moved and others will have a a sign on them indicating “Closed Due to Social Distancing”.

We ask that clients call when they are in the parking lot and are asked to wait in the car until their service provider is ready to meet them at the door.  When we call you, you will be met, checked in, and guided to your service area.  Our retail stock is now in the salon office. You will be provided with a sanitized pen and a menu of the products.  Your service provider will take the filled out menu to the desk, where it will be pulled, placed in a bag, and ready for you when you leave.

If you would like, we do have the ability to securely add your payment information to your file. We can than use the card on file for a contactless checkout.

The following things have been temporarily suspended due to sanitization and social distancing needs: Magazines, coffee, tea, mints, water fountains, coat and changing rooms. We will be unable to do bang trims and have discontinued the self service blow comb station.

We will have to limit the people in the salon to just the client and the service provider to insure the proper social distancing measures. We ask that anyone else that has come with you remain in the car.

We will do curbside product delivery, but not walk in. If someone calls from their car, we will check to see if we have an opening and can also run out product if they call from the parking lot.

After consulting with our staff, managers, getting input from our customers and performing our own research, we have issued a six page protocol memo to our staff so we can open as soon as we are allowed. Since we have had no guidance or information on what to do to open for the State, we may have some additional requirements, if they do decide to give them to us.

Thank you for your patience and loyalty. In our 48 years of salon ownership this has been one of the most difficult times we have seen, as we are sure it has been for everyone else.

Thank you,

Dianne and Rocco Altobelli and all the staff

Rocco Altobelli Salons

As a side note, one of the hardest things our staff will have to give up are the hugs that they share! Please consider yourselves hugged in our hearts and stay safe!
