1979:
Helene Curtis Industries, Inc. Advisory Board

1981:
Founded the Rocco Altobelli Training Academy to assure high quality advanced level training for all Rocco Altobelli, Inc. staff.
The Gillette Company honored Rocco Altobelli as Super Stylist by vote of the nation’s fashion beauty press in recognition of his creativity, versatility and popularity in American Hairstyling.

1983:
Intercoiffure Knighthood, Ordre de la Chavalerie, Intercoiffure.

1985:
The Minneapolis Small Business Association named Rocco and his wife, Dianne Altobelli, “Small Business Person of the Year,” for their accomplishments. Rocco Altobelli, Inc. was named the area’s most outstanding business for exemplifying the imagination, initiative, independence and integrity by which the American Small Business Person makes a vital contribution to the nation, the economy and the free enterprise system.

1986:
Rocco & Dianne Altobelli were featured in the book, In Love and in Business.

1987:
Hairdresser of the Year: Recognized by Intercoiffure for “his contribution of time and energy”.

1989:
Named “Man of the Year,” by Intercoiffure
Developed Altobella ClayPac®, a revolutionary hair revitalizing treatment for hair damaged by the environment or by chemical processing.
Received both a patent and design award for the Altobella bottle.

1989:
Founded Altobella Hair Products, Inc., a hair care company.  Products include ClayPac®, ClayPac ClayOns®, and Botanical Solutions™, hair care products.  The introduction of the ClayPac began a revolution in hair revitalization; the introduction of ClayPac ClayOns ushered in a new hair color technology and started a whole new movement in the hair color treatment.  ClayPac Botanical Solutions is the first line of naturally derived products proven to reduce hair color fadage normally caused by the sun.

1990:
Developed ProColor™ system with Rocco Altobelli Technical Director, Richard Hudavoni, the first universal advanced technical training and educational programs for hair colorists around the world.
Rocco Altobelli named “Top Educator” at the Midwest Beauty Show

1991:
Received recognition for his help in setting up the Hair Color Exchange with Richard Hudavoni.

1995:
Rocco & Dianne Altobelli received the Minnesota Fashion Group International Minneapolis/St. Paul, Inc. “Tribute to Excellence Award.”

1996:
Honored with the National Association of Packagers’ Merit Award for package design.

1998:
Rocco Altobelli received the Intercoiffure’s Presidential Award, Guillaume, for the Foremost Businessman of the Year.
Rocco Altobelli served on the Intercoiffure-America for 16 years as well as the membership chairman for 8 years.  He is currently on the board for Intercoiffure Mondial in Paris.
Altobelli has conducted seminars and shows throughout the world including Paris, Milan, New York City and Hamburg, as well as a stylist for designers such as Lagerfeld, Montana, and Chloe in Paris.
His hairstyles have been featured in hundreds of consumer and professional magazines and he continues to contribute to professional trade magazines.
He has a golf handicap of 12.
