Dear Staff:
This is a very difficult and stressful time for all. I wish I could be more specific in answering questions for all, but we have a moving target for definite information. We have tried to do the best for both staff and guests, by offering you the choice to stay at home if you felt uncomfortable at work or by coming in to work if you wanted to. It has now been taken out of our control and we have had to close the salons.
At this time we plan to reopen on Saturday, March 28th. We had the Administrators and Artistic Directors come in this morning to call the clients that are booked and move them to future appointments. After the calls are done the phone lines will be transferred to the office where we will have staffing to book future appointments and answer questions that the guests and staff may have. The salons will be closed at that point. The office will remain open regular hours during this time to help answer questions. If the government extends the deadline, we will call the clients and rebook them appropriately.
In 47 1/2 years we have never had anything like this occur and it is unsettling for all. We will try to keep everyone updated as we know more by using this site as well as you can certainly call and just talk if you want.
With love and concern, Dianne and Rocco and the whole Rocco Altobelli team and family.
